Saint Croix Linens Boosted Efficiency with MinnPACE Financing

This commercial laundry business, part of Saint Croix Cleaners, serves hotels, restaurants, and airlines throughout the Twin Cities and expanded into a new facility on Plato Boulevard. As environmentally conscious owners, they built the business around providing an eco-friendly laundry option, prioritizing water, energy, and heat efficiency. MinnPACE financing was especially attractive because of its favorable interest rate and the ability to use the property tax assessment instead of personal or traditional collateral. With most of their existing collateral already committed, PACE provided a practical path to fund needed upgrades. The financing supported new LED lighting, a full warehouse remodel, a highly efficient boiler, and large-scale machines that use only a third of the water of standard washers. Altogether, these improvements significantly reduce energy and water consumption while supporting business growth.
