OlymPak and Trillion BTU Partner to Power a Cleaner Future
OlymPak Printing & Packaging doesn’t just talk about sustainability, it’s living it. This fall, the company brought a bold three-year vision to life with the launch of a 1.32 MW on-site solar field, making it one of the leading manufacturers in the nation to take this transformative step.
This milestone was made possible through a powerful collaboration with Trillion BTU, Stoic Energy, Cedar Creek Energy, and Woodlands Bank.
The installation features 2,280 high-performance solar panels, engineered for Minnesota’s climate and optimized to capture maximum energy throughout the day. Once fully operational, the system will generate enough renewable electricity to power 100% of OlymPak’s daytime operations, placing the company among the operators of the largest privately owned manufacturer-powered solar fields in the country.
For OlymPak, this investment means long-term energy resilience, lower operating costs, and a dramatically reduced carbon footprint. For Minnesota, it’s a shining example of how clean-energy financing can accelerate sustainable growth in manufacturing.
And OlymPak’s commitment doesn’t stop here. Beyond solar, the company champions paperboard packaging—a renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable alternative that helps brands cut plastic waste without compromising performance or shelf appeal.
Trillion BTU is proud to support this project and partner with manufacturers dedicated to building a cleaner, stronger, and more resilient future, one solar panel at a time.
